Adult Dyslexia Treatment: Using Color

A lot of adults that have dyslexia have learned to device ways on how to manage their condition. One of the methods commonly done is the use of colors.

A Fight With White

According to research, disorders like dyslexia are occasionally affected by color. It is believed that the 'glare' of white paper is the culprit on why children and adults with this condition have a hard time reading the page.

People that have this kind of dyslexia are not able to focus on the information they are reading on plain white paper. Thus, they have a hard time memorizing or learning the information that is written on the paper.

White paper is considered to be very aversive, which is the same reason why learning has become aversive as well.

Putting Some Color Into Your World

Due to this aversion that the color white brings upon, the use of color has been practiced in able to make reading somewhat more pleasant, especially to a dyslexic reader. So here are some ways on how putting color into your life can change your reading and organizational skills dramatically!

Color Coding

This method has been proven effective by a lot of dyslexics. This can have a great effect on your organizational skills. For example, color coding your computer disks by class can be helpful. You can also try making specific colored labels to stick to your disks, or CD’s so that you know which one is for which use.

Buying color coded notebooks can be done too. In this way, you know which notebook is for what class by simply looking at the color. Color coding saves you a lot of time, since you don’t have to waste your time looking through unorganized material.

Highlighters

Since most printed material in the market are usually on white paper, highlighters can become your best friend, if you want to read the page with some color. You can have several highlighters close by when reading books. This can also be helpful when you often lose track of the meaning of what you are reading and what part of the book are you already.

This may seem messy for some people, but it can be very helpful for dyslexics. However, be sure that whatever it is that you are highlighting is yours. Avoid highlighting library books since this can cause you to pay fines or even replace the book.

Colored Paper

If you don’t like highlighting data that you have written, then writing it down or printing it on colored paper would be useful. This can help you read more effectively, since there is no glare from white colored paper. You can do this if you have to print out some data on the computer.

Contrasting Colors

If you have problems with differentiating right from left, then you can try using colors to help you discriminate so. The use of contrasting colors, such as red and blue, would be best. For example, wearing a blue sock on your right foot and a red sock on your left can help you remember which is which.

This can be useful if direction is important with what you do, like in sports. When in training, instead of directing you with right and left, your coach can simply say the color, since it can be one way of associating direction for you.

Using Acid Reflux Medicine to Get Rid of the Annoying Heartburns

Alcohol lovers would often love to match their drink with spicy dishes and greasy and fatty foods. The perfect combination makes the drinking perfect to the palate. Unfortunately though, this is bad for the esophagus and the stomach. The alcohol, the spicy dishes and the greasy and fatty foods causes acid reflux or also known as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Other causes of acid reflux are pregnancy, genetic influences, presence of infection in the gastrointestinal tract, and the Non-Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs).

The Gastrointestinal System of the body is composed of the following: the oral cavity, the esophagus, the stomach, small intestine, large intestine and the anus. The main function of the Gastrointestinal System is to digest food particles, absorb digestive juices and eliminate undigested materials which are of course the feces.

The acid reflux affects the stomach and the esophagus. This occurs when the liquid from the stomach which contains pepsin, an irritating substance produced by the chief cells goes up to the esophagus passing through the cardiac sphincter. The cardiac sphincter is the opening to the stomach from the esophagus. Its function is to prevent reflux of the substances in the stomach because these substances cause esophageal irritation and ulcer. If the cardiac sphincter fails to close after receiving food from the esophagus, acid reflux occurs.

Acid reflux is a chronic condition. Once a person suffers from it, it becomes a life-long ordeal. Injury in the esophagus also is a chronic condition. Even if the esophagus has healed with treatment and it is being stopped, the injury will return in most patients within a few months. Once treatment for said illness is begun, it usually needs to be continued indefinitely.

Normally, liquid reflux in the stomach occurs to a healthy individual. However, people with the acid reflux or GERD, has more acid in the liquid. This may be caused by the genetic influences, specifically, an increased number of parietal cells which produce pepsin in the stomach.

The body has mechanisms to protect itself from the harmful effects of reflux and acid. Most reflux happens during the day when individuals are upright. In said position, the refluxed liquid is more likely to flow back down into the stomach due to gravity. Moreover, while individuals are awake, they continually swallow, regardless if there is reflux or not. Each time individuals swallow the reflux liquid slide back into the stomach. The last body defense to reflux is the salivary glands in the mouth. These glands produce saliva, which contains bicarbonate. Every time an individual swallows, the bicarbonate-containing saliva slides down the esophagus. The bicarbonate neutralizes the small amount of acid that remains in the esophagus.

Basically, acid reflux medicines inhibit the production or release of pepsin produced by the chief cells and hydrochloric acid produced by the parietal cells in the stomach. Other medicines may not totally inhibit the production but they neutralize the acid.

The acid reflux medicines are the Histamine Blockers or the H2 receptor antagonists. Histamine stimulates a pump in the stomach that releases hydrochloric acid. The H2 receptor antagonists prevent the histamine from stimulating this pump. They block the production of the hydrochloric acid thereby reducing secretion and concentration into the stomach.

One of the acid reflux medicines is the Cimetidine which was introduced in 1975. It has a short half-life and short duration of action. The three most popular H2 blockers are Ranitidine, Famotidine and Nizatidine. They are more potent than Cimetidine because in addition to blocking gastric acid secretions, they also promote healing of the ulcer by eliminating its cause. They also have longer duration of action.

As the cliché goes, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure, you can avoid having an acid reflux or GERD by avoiding too much smoking and alcohol, and by eating less of spicy and greasy food. When taking NSAIDs, be sure you take it after meals. Lastly, avoid stress because it stimulates the release of the deadly acid.

Advertising using Power Words

Word cannot only influence the minds of people but can completely change their perception abut a particular thing. Words have the persuasion power to entice and motivate. They are used by the politicians, public relations personals, and even by parents to pass on their message. These words are known as power words and they can do wonders when used in advertisement.

New or improved words create a sense of curiosity. The customers get an impression that the product is something that is different from others and he tries to get it before anyone else does so as to have edge over others. The laundry products have always been advertised as new and improved, from years. Although it can be either new improved version of the existing product, but the power of both the words and the product reinforces each other’s strength.

Take for instance the line ‘Money back guarantee’, these power words helps gain the trust of the customer. It is a must to print these words at the closing line of an advertisement. After this sentence, the methods of payment and how money will be returned if the customer is not satisfied should be stated.

Most of the successful advertisements have a little known secret that surely generated curiosity within the reader. People are knowledge thirsty, they want to know what others do not know. They think that there is some vital information they are missing because of which they haven’t gained success in something particular.

Words ‘Insider say that’, is similar to ‘secret’. It gives out information from some expertise that is still unknown to the outside world and only if the customer gives money, information will be divulged to him.

Free word in the headline of the message simply does wonders. The reader easily absorbs the message, unless and until something free is given to the customer in reality. By any change, if the company tricks the customer into paying money for something, which was supposed to be free, the trust of the customer is lost instantly. Usually the word FREE is spelled as FR~E on websites as ISP filters blocks messages having the actual word, considering it to be some kind of spam.

You is a very important word to be used in an advertisement. It directly points out the advantages to the customer, if he buys a particular product or service. Step into the shoes of the customer and try to note down the points which will be of benefit and what points will decrease the interest. The advantages then should be referred to the customer by addressing them with ‘you’. The customer feels that he is being directly talked to.

The word ‘Immediately’ rings in the emergency. It can be interpreted as ‘Don’t wait any longer, get it now!’ This motivates the customer to take some necessary and quick action.

Power in itself is a powerful word. Give that power to the consumer and see the magic. This gives the consumer a feeling that he can get possession of something that he lacked till now and this could make him achieve the impossible.

The basis of a successful advertisement is to understand the consumer’s needs and then design the advertisement accordingly. Just stating the advantages of using the product or service of the company isn’t enough. Sentence should be so designed that the customer should see his advantage in the product. For example, when advertising for a digital camera, just stating that the in-built memory of the camera is of 1 GB, won’t do the trick. Instead, the sentence should be changed to ‘enough memory to store 350 pictures or 50 videos’. The solution to the problem of the customer is reflected in this sentence. Ideas can be taken from advertisements of other similar brands like how the sentences are written and placed in an advertisement. After the sentence framing, adding power words to spice up the advertisement will definitely make a winning ad campaign.

CAMERA PROFITS USING YOUR CAMERA FOR EXTRA MONEY

One of the easiest ways to making extra money is with a camera.

More people own cameras than radios, and photography is the

fastest growing hobby in the world. Yet using a camera as an

extra income tool is largely overlooked!

With a little imagination, a flair for showmanship, and just a

hint of showmanship, the average man or woman, or even teenager,

can easily make an extra $300 a week with his camera.

You don't have to have one of the popular, more expensive cameras

either, or a lot of high priced attachments and equipment. in

many instances, a Polaroid or other "off-the-shelf" camera will

suit the purposes perfectly. The only special piece of extra

equipment you may want to invest in would be a tripod for

mounting the camera in certain situations.

One of the easiest ideas is to visit a children's clothing store

in one of the busy shopping centers, or the children's department

in one of the large department stores. Sell the manager or store

owner on the idea of your setting up in a corner of the store or

department, and taking pictures of the shoppers' children. He can

promote the fact that you'll be in the store taking pictures for

a special prices during certain hours---perhaps on Friday

evenings and all day Saturdays---in his advertising, thus drawing

more patrons into his store because of you.

You'll need a sheet or plain piece of material, or some sort of

imaginative set for a background. But this can be easily make or

build yourself. You should also have an eye-catching poster that

calls attention to what you're doing and the prices you're

charging. Unless you're a commercial artist, spend the money to

have this sign made for you by a professional. The next and last

thing you'll need will be a two-part receipt or coupon.

This can be a simple piece of paper about 2 inches wide by 5

inches long. On the left side draw lines for your customers to

fill in their name, telephone number and address. You might also

want to include space for additional information such as the

child's name and age and number of children in the family, for

future efforts, but keep it brief and simple.

On the right side of this coupon, have your business name,

address and telephone number, plus a quick outline of the

different kinds of photography work you handle, and perhaps a

business slogan such as "Satisfaction Guaranteed or You Don't

Pay."

To add a little bit of class to this coupon, take the basic

outline of this idea over to a instant print shop. Tell them what

you want; show them your outline; and have them typeset

everything. Then put a fancy border around the whole coupon and

have it printed on colored paper. The best color is a "dollar

bill" shade of green. If you want to give it even more class, you

could have it printed on green, lightweight card stock. You'll

want to divide the "information" side of this coupon from the

"business card" side with a dotted line and perforations.

If you layout this coupon properly, you should be able to get six

of them on an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper or card stock. This

means the printer can print and cut 6,000 of them for about the

same cost as printing circulars or flyers.

On your printing, shop around for the best deal, but in the end,

it shouldn't cost more than $60 for all 6,000 coupons which will

come those 1,000 sheets of paper or card stock.

Now, when you take a person's picture, regardless of whether it's

an "in-store" set-up out on the golf course, or along the street,

you give your customer one of your coupon-receipts and tell them

their prints will be ready in a couple of days. They fill in the

information part of the coupon and give it back to you, retaining

your "business card" portion of it.

When the prints are ready, you can phone the customer and remind

him--volunteer to deliver and collect; send them through the mail

with a bill; or make arrangements with a store to take care of

them until the people call for them and pay at that time.

Most stores, golf courses, bowling centers, and other retail

merchants will be glad to handle this part of it for you, because

it brings the customers back into the places of business, and

provides another sales opportunity for them.

By all means, be sure to include an advertising circular with

each set of pictures you deliver. This circular should explain

how the customer can get more prints, how he can get enlargements

of his favorites, and details relating to all the other

photography services you offer

Back to the original "in-store" picture taking set-up during

evening shopping hours and on weekends for extra income. You can

call attention to your "in-store" set-up, and bring in more

business with a few merchandising promotional ideas. In the

following paragraphs we give the highlights of a few ideas that

have worked well. However, you should keep your eyes open to

observe additional promotional ideas that could be adapted to fit

your new business.

Dress a helper in a clown suit, and take pictures of the kids in

his lap or with his arm around the kids. Put a sandwich

advertising board on a helper and let him stroll through the

shopping center advertising the fact that you're in a Kiddies

Clothing store taking pictures.

Promote a "Baby of The Year" contest where you can take pictures

of the babies, display the pictures on a "show board" and offer

$100 cash plus a merchandise prize in a big drawing at the end of

the year.

Set up a booth in the mall and promote "Instant Snapshots." Be a

Roving Photographer and take candid shots of shoppers and promote

a "Shopper Of The Year" contest. Work with a clown and have him

"attach himself" to the kids, and ask if they'd like to have

their pictures taken with him. Build and inexpensive and portable

set, such as an airplane, a race car, bucking bronco,

hand-shaking scene with a famous person or "balloon figures" and

take pictures of the people standing in or on these sets.

Get out to the golf course and take pictures of the golfers

teeing off. Get over to the bowling centers and take candid shots

of the bowlers in action. Do the same thing wherever there's a

sports event taking place. Be on the spot and ready whenever

there's an opportunity to take team pictures.

You might follow, or hire someone else to follow a Little League

team through its season, taking candid and action shots. You then

arrange the best pictures in a photo album with the team's name

and year on front. You should be able to sell one of these albums

to each member of the team.

There's also the idea of "just" strolling through the park" on a

Sunday afternoon. You can take candid and interesting pictures of

couples, children and people in general spending time with their

relatives.

Keep tabs on the announcements of new births. Send advertising

literature to the new mothers, and follow up with a phone call

efforts to set up photography sessions.

Keep tabs on the engagement notices in the weekend papers. Send

your sales literature to the brides-to-be, and follow up with

phone call efforts to take the wedding pictures.

Set up a household and business photo inventory service. With

this idea, you contact the insurance companies and determine if

they will approve and endorse photographs you take of their

policy holders' household, personal, and business property in

loss claims.

Most will, and from there--working either with the help of an

insurance agent, the agency itself, or on your own--contact

owners of property and sell them on the idea of you taking

pictures of the household goods they have insured. You take the

pictures--a pictorial inventory of everything they're claiming or

would like to claim on an insurance policy--and then identify the

pictures, giving one set to the property owner and the other set

to his insurance agent or company.

Picture inventories of household and personal property is still a

new thing, but everywhere it's been introduced, it's definitely

proven to be a super money- maker for the people willing to get

out and hustle.

If this idea arouses your interest, you might want to check into

a going franchise operation that gives you a complete business

manual, operations guidebook, and ongoing consultant services:

Photographic Inventory, PO Box 4046, Morgantown, WV 26505.

Once you decide that using your camera to generate extra income

is what you're going to do, get out and use your camera, start

taking pictures, and allow yourself the opportunity to build.

Give yourself the chance, and you'll quickly begin to think of

hundreds of ideas for taking pictures, merchandising ideas for

promoting your services, and sales angles for increasing your

profits.

The important thing is to get started, regardless of how small

your start, and begin cashing in on an idea that's still in its

infancy. This is an idea that can produce new concepts for profit

every day of the week. An idea that can be fun, as well as

financially rewarding for you!

You've got the idea and the plan--the rest is up to you. You've

got the ball; now run with it!

Are You Using Cash Advances Properly?

A cash advance that isn’t used properly will usually lead to a lot of trouble for you, and if you were using this cash advance to pay a bill then you will also end up in a lot of trouble from the billing company. If you get the cash advance and blow it on something that isn’t relevant to the reason why you got the cash advance, then that spells trouble; however, the cash advance company doesn’t care how you spend the money just so long as you can give them the repayments that they have laid out for you, then they don’t mind that you could be in a mountain of debt, all they want is the money just like every other company that may be on your back.

You have to use a cash advance carefully or you will end up with more companies on your back and no way out except for a bigger cash advance or maybe even a loan. You don’t want to take the money from the cash advance company and then spend it recklessly on something that you like or something entirely different compared to what you had in mind for the cash in the first place.

If you use a cash advance properly, then it may very well be the only time that you need to borrow the cash from a cash advance company, and you will be safe from any kinds of debt that you may have hanging over your head. But if used incorrectly, then you will find that you will need the cash advance companies help again and again; this will result in the worst credit history that you could possibly imagine, and we all know that a bad credit history will hang over your head for a long time to come resulting in a tough future for you all thanks to you not using a cash advance properly. So use the cash advance carefully, it may be the only time that you need a cash advance.

7 Ways To Make Money Using Nothing More Than Your List

An opt-in list can be quite crucial to any site or internet based company. Even for a small venture such as a niche profit site an opt-in list can make a world of difference and also add some extra income for your pocket. Rarely would you see an e-commerce site, big or small, that is without an opt-in list.

An opt-in list allows for a company to market their wares and site via an e-mail. With an opt-in list, a site and a subscriber consents to sending and receiving a newsletter from your company. Through this, you can keep your subscribers abreast of what is currently available in your site as well as whatever is coming out.

And because there is mutual consent between the two parties, any mail sent to the list is not considered as spam mail. There is a great number of successfully read promotional materials such as catalogs, newsletters and such that are sent because the subscribers themselves have signed up for them, meaning, they do want to be sent those items.

Building a list is crucial, only a small percentage actually subscribes for an opt-in list. Many people find promotional mails annoying but of you provide a good newsletter or promotional material, you will see your list build up and grow. You can also achieve this by having good content on your site. If people like what they see and read on your site, then they surely would want more. Newsletters would be a way to attract them back to your site. A little teaser or appetizer if you will.

But other than marketing your wares and your services, an opt-in list can also be used to earn extra profit. Not all lists can be used though. It would be good to first build a successful list with a huge number of subscribers. The more subscribers you have, the more money you can get. Here are seven ways to make money using nothing more than your list.

1) Place advertisements. There are many corporations who will be willing to pay to put their banners and ads on a list with many subscribers. Selling or renting out lists is not a good idea so rather than doing that, many companies would just rather place ads with lists that have a huge subscriber base. Your newsletter could be placed with many ads and each one spells money.

2) Have affiliations with other companies that have at least a semblance or relation to what your site is about. Here other companies will provide links and brief descriptions of what they offer, products and services. With every click made on the link that directs or leads a subscriber from your list to their site, the company will pay you. This P4P or pay for performance.

3) Make deals with other companies by asking for a small percentage of sales done through your list. With every sale done by customers that have come from your list and have gone there because of your newsletter, the other company will pay you a small percentage of your sales. The more people who buys from them, the more earnings you get.

4) You may also get products from other sites on a consignment basis and sell them to your list via your newsletter. Place descriptions, articles and photos of the product in your newsletter. There will be those who will buy from you and when that happens, you can order the product from the other site and sell it to your buyer.

5) Sell e-books or a compilation of your articles on your list. Manuals and how-to articles are in great demand. Many people will be willing to shell out money to gain knowledge about a certain topic and subject. With your existing list trusting your expertise in that area, an e-book could be offered and sold or used as an incentive.

6) Create a network out of your list. Get people to invite more people to view your site and subscribe to your list. The larger your list is, the more people will be able to click on your links and affiliate links as well as make your advertisement rates higher.

7) Subscribers are willing to pay for information if they know that it can be trusted and relied upon. Use your list to get more and more people to subscribe to you as well as browse your site. Lastly, you can use your list to earn money by making them your partners. Your list will be the bloodline of your growth and increase.

Using Courtesy While Driving an ATV

Since its introduction to the public in the 1970's, those who ride All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) have had to deal with a number of issues regarding their behavior. Some of these issues deal with safety, while others deal with rider's behavior towards sharing trails and those whose land they trespass on. Many drivers irresponsibly disregard laws that prohibit the use of ATVs in certain areas. Because of this, hundreds of trails have been designated as safe and legal places for ATV riders to use. As with all forms of vehicular travel, there are a number of rules, both implied and legislated, which have been developed to ensure the safety of those who drive ATVs.

Regardless of why someone is using a trail, it is important to remember that all trail users are responsible for watching and listening for others. This should result in those who use trails actively looking and listening for others, as opposed to merely reacting when someone or something comes their way. This approach will go a long way towards preventing the accidents and misunderstandings that can take place on the trails.

It is generally accepted that traveling on the right side of the trail removes indecision about the proper side on which to pass. If you need to pass on the left for one reason or another, always ask for and get permission before you do so. Make sure that you are able to slow down significantly and use caution at all curves and junctions. While riding an ATV is not the time that you want to experience a surprise! Surprises are never safe - regardless of what type of vehicle you happen to be riding!

If you should encounter a horse while you are riding your ATV, always yield to the horse and rider. Go out of your way to make sure that the horse has seen and heard you. In addition, you will want to give the horse adequate room to pass you on the trail. Remember that motorized recreation vehicles, such as ATVs, can usually be heard coming, and the horse rider may be well out of the way. If not, be courteous, and shut off your motor. Then allow the rider to get a safe distance beyond you before you start it back up again. If you happen to notice that a horse is becoming edgy, nervous, or agitated, always turn off your engine. Then ask the rider what you can do to make the situation better for him and the horse.

Unfortunately, the great majority of responsible riders have had their reputation negatively affected by those who do not follow the rules of the trails and who do not take the necessary time to be courteous. Simple courtesy and respect for others and their property will discourage riders of ATVs from riding on non-designated trails, or from using other's private land without permission. This type of responsible thinking will also prevent riders from driving their ATV under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A number of accidents happen each year because of this unfortunate behavior.

If you are planning riding your ATV on a trail designed for ATV use, keep in mind that there is always a good chance that you may encounter someone who is using the trail for a purpose other than the driving of ATVs. In these situations, it is best to give others the respect that you desire from them. Be active in your effort to hear and see other who is on your trails. When you do encounter them, always yield.

Using a Charcoal Grill

So you have decided that you want to start barbequing. What more, you have done your research and decided that a charcoal grill is the right type of grill for you. So now you have to pick out the charcoal grill that suits you best.

One of the first things to consider when purchasing your first charcoal grill is what you will be using it for. If you plan on traveling and using your charcoal grill, you will want something small enough to travel with you. Smaller charcoal grills are ideal for cookouts, camping, and tail gate parties, but would not be useful if you were cooking for a larger amount of people. Smaller grills that are easy to transport usually cost under 20 dollars, so you may want to consider purchasing a separate grill for smaller occasions.

Safety should also be a major concern when you are picking out your first charcoal grill. Since you grill will contain hot coals, the number one concern should be whether or not your grill is sturdy. Look for a charcoal grill with a sturdy structure and sturdy legs. If you grill does now have sturdy legs, it’s chances of falling over is much greater. When a charcoal grill falls over, it send hot coals flying. Many charcoal grills also have built in safety features such as a water reservoir and smothering valves. Undoubtedly, when you are cooking with fire, accidents can happen. In the case that your grill gets out of control or becomes to hot, these safety features will prevent potentially dangerous fires.

One of the most noticeable features when using charcoal is the flavor of the food you cook. To cook with a charcoal grill, you must buy charcoal briquettes and lighter fluid. Charcoal is a one use item, and will need to be discarded after each use. Charcoal can be picked up at your local superstore, gas station, or grocery store, and is typically pretty inexpensive. Charcoal must be light and allowed to burn until the charcoal is no longer on fire, but is red embers. The best way to get the pile to burn is by stacking it in a pyramid.

While no one likes to clean their grill, it is necessary to maintain your grill if you want it to last it’s intended lifetime. One problem you will face is the fact that Charcoal grills stay hot for a long period of time. You can remedy this situation 2 ways. First you can leave your grill open, allowing it to burn out. This method typically burns a lot of the grease off, but can potentially cause problems if you are not near your barbeque grill. You do not want to start a fire. Another way is to completely close off your grill and deny the fire oxygen. As soon as the grill is cold, or cold enough not to burn you, you will want to clean the grill. Leaving the grill dirty for any amount of time will cause the buildup to become hard, and may make it harder to remove. Use a wire brush to clean off the surface areas of your grill, and then spray cooking oil on the surface. Take the racks off and clean them with dishwashing soap. Dawn or other brands that have degreasers work best. Rinse the racks off, and replace them in the grill.

Using Free Reports to Build Your List

Aside from pre-selling your products and affiliated offers, the other purpose of your free viral report should be to build your mailing list.

This is because if you are unable to pre-sell, let alone sell, the products and services featured in your free report, the last ditch effort should be to collect leads. In short, if you cannot convert the reader into a ready buyer, you should then attempt to convert him or her into your subscriber.

In that manner, you can still follow up with your reader on future offers and have a chance at converting him or her into your customer, preferably lifetime.

You can do so by offering a lifetime update to your report or a unique notification list your reader will be interested in subscribing to, which leads to having him or her subscribed to your mailing list.

One of the few success factors in viral marketing of your free report is quality. If your readers find your information worth sharing, and you encourage them to do so by giving them the right to give your report away for free, you will be able to have your name, status and links within the report passed around without any effort on your part – simply because others are willing to do so for you!

Using RSS in Affiliate Marketing

It is a fact that the success of affiliate marketing depends on the traffic to your website. More traffic is always considered to be a symbol of more sales. Here we will discuss RSS, which is one of the biggest factors for increasing traffic to your website.

RSS is a very popular technique used to get more traffic and is among the top ten techniques to improve ratings. It is a fact that most of the internet users are in hurry and they want to save time. They like to do scanning instead of reading. So RSS is especially for those visitors, they would surely get its benefits.

How does RSS increase traffic to my website?

If you use RSS, then you will notice an increase in your traffic in the following ways.

RSS improves search engine rankings

First of all, RSS will enable you to get higher search engine rankings. This will result in more traffic to your website. If you want to get even better results, you should setup a blogger on your main domain. This will result in adding thousands of users per month to your website.

RSS builds relationships and trust

Using RSS, you can get the trust of visitors successfully. If someone visits your website and is impressed by the contents you are offering, he will add your RSS in his reader or aggregator. Although he has not given you his email address, he has added your RSS. Now he can look at your headlines everyday and whenever he sees some interesting news he will visit your website. In this way, RSS will help you to get returning visitors. After some visits, it is likely he will give you his email address. This is how the RSS is building the trust and relationship between your website and visitors.

RSS is a powerful alternative to email marketing

People who search for information on the web are generally busy and impatient.

Using email marketing (which is still effective), you are required to get the name and email address of the user, and you can send them your e-courses along with the advertising messages. But this is only possible if you can get their email address.

It is the fact that email marketing is an effective way of promoting your products. But people are sometimes hesitant in giving their email address to a new website. Many websites gather the emails of their visitors and then sell them in the market. This results in spam being sent to the visitor’s email address. Nobody likes this so they try to avoid giving their email address to a new website.

You may lose the majority of your visitors if you are not using RSS. As you know, using RSS, you can promote your website without even knowing the email addresses of your visitors. RSS can be considered as an alternative to email marketing.

Conclusion

RSS has become a very useful marketing technique. If you want to dominate your niche, then you must use RSS technology to make this happen. As we all now that RSS reader allows visitors to quickly see new content appearing on the website, and whether visitors like it or not, you always have an opportunity to get his attention, encouraging him to click your web page.

RSS is more effective than email marketing. In email marketing, getting the emails of users is a difficult task. Also it is not guaranteed that the user will read your email. But in the case of RSS, there are no such requirements and the user is always updated with the new contents that are offered on your website even without visiting your site. This builds a hidden relationship with your user. If you are updating your website with useful content, this hidden relation may convert into a business relation.

Using Ebay’s Affiliate Program

Ebay offers plenty of ways to make money. Sellers can put items up for sale or even open their own virtual storefronts. But did you know that Ebay also has an affiliate program? You can sign up to be an Ebay affiliate and have the potential to earn lots of revenue just by driving traffic to Ebay.

Let’s say that you have a web site that gets thousands of hits each month. When you sign up with the Ebay affiliate program, you will be able to place links on your web site that lead back to Ebay. When users click these links, they are able to browse items for sale and even sign up for a seller account if they want to. For all sales and sign-ups that occur within one week of the user clicking on your affiliate links, you earn money. It’s that simple.

Signing up with Ebay’s affiliate program is easy. They have partnered with Commission Junction, an affiliate tracking service that offers real-time reporting and monthly commission checks. To join the program, you must first sign up with Commission Junction. Sign-up is quick and easy. When you’re finished, you will receive codes that you can place on your web site to start attracting customers and directing them to Ebay. And that’s where the money begins.

For every active registration that occurs through one of your affiliate links, you will receive $25-35. Ebay considers a registration to be active if a user places a bid within thirty days of registration. In addition, you will receive a commission of 50-75% on all winning bids or Buy It Nows within seven days of an affiliate action. That means users who click your affiliate link and make an Ebay purchase are putting 50-75% of that transaction’s revenue in your pocket. And all you did was put some code on your web site. What could be easier?

Ebay uses a tiered payment structure for determining commission rates. If you bring over 1-49 active accounts, you will earn a commission of $25 per account. 50-1,999 active accounts will earn you $28 per account. If you bring in 2,000-29,999 active accounts, each one will earn you a $31 commission. And for recruiting 30,000 or more new accounts, you will receive $35 per account. Those are generous terms for an affiliate program. The revenues system is similarly tiered. For every $0-$99 you generate, you will earn 50% commission. The amounts increase incrementally, up to 75% commission for revenue of $3 million and more.

Ebay’s affiliate program is painless for participants and easy to get involved in. Drive traffic to Ebay and get rewarded. Every little bit helps, right? To learn more about this affiliate program, visit affiliates.ebay.com.

Disadvantages of Using a Broker to Secure Air Ambulance Transportation

If you or someone you love are in need of transportation via air ambulance, you may be confused about where to look to locate such a service. Frequently, patients and families will turn to a broker in order to secure air ambulance services. The use of a broker can help you to locate air ambulance services to meet the needs of the patient, but this is not always the best plan of action.

Using a broker to secure air ambulance travel for a patient can have many disadvantages. It can be wise to take the time to search for air ambulance service on your own whenever possible.

Since the broker is a middle man, he does not own the aircraft, fly the air ambulance, or staff the flight. The broker merely finds an appropriate air ambulance service at the lowest price available. Although this may sound like a great opportunity, it really is not a beneficial situation.

After the broker locates air ambulance transportation, he adds his fee to the final cost.

Using a broker does not ensure a higher level of quality for the patient. In fact, they have no system to analyze quality control for patient care. Dealing directly with the air ambulance service company, the patient can receive the best rate for the service.

Going through a broker to locate air ambulance services will tie your hands and leave the patient unable to deal directly with the service provider. On the other hand, patients who forego the broker can contact the air ambulance service provider directly. This allows the opportunity to discuss any personal questions or concerns. During this stressful time, patients and their families need reassurance. Direct contact between you and the air ambulance company can be very comforting and provide much needed peace of mind about the quality service and medical treatment the patient will receive.

Using a broker to secure adequate air ambulance transportation services is much like using a broker to locate the perfect child care provider for your children. Regardless of the excellent reputation of the service provider, it is important and crucial to have trust and confidence in the service provider for the best results. Yes, the broker will find appropriate services, but will everyone feel confident about the broker’s decision? Making the decision for the best air ambulance service provider through your own resources will add a sense of comfort and assurance.

If the circumstances arise that you or a family member require the services of transportation by air ambulance, you may want to skip the services from a broker and do the legwork yourself. There are several advantages to locating the air ambulance service on your own. Without the use of a broker, direct contact between you and the service provider is useful to answer any questions that may arise. A sense of confidence arises with the patient and the family during this interaction. Also, dealing directly with the air ambulance service provider can create an opportunity to receive the highest quality service at a great value. Going through a broker merely marks up the cost of such services.

Using Advertising in Email Marketing

The subject of whether or not it is acceptable to use advertising in email market is hotly debated with some Internet marketers being strongly in favor of placing advertisements in email marketing while others are strongly against the use of advertisements in email marketing. Still others take a more neutral stance and are not either firmly for or against the use of advertising in email marketing. This article will take a look at both sides of the argument and allow the reader to formulate his own opinions on whether or not this subject is worthwhile.

There are some Internet marketers who are strongly in favor of the use of advertisements in emails distributed for marketing purposes. Those who favor the use of advertisements view the sale of advertising space on email marketing materials such as emails or e-newsletters as a way to generate profit from the email marketing itself. They also believe this tactic puts less pressure on the Internet marketer to meet the expectations of the members of the email distribution list because the emails are already generating a profit even if they do not entice the email recipients to make a purchase.

Those who are firmly against the use of advertising in email marketing feel as though this makes the advertisements seem more like spam and less like marketing materials or useful information. Those on this side of the fence feel as though any advertisement in an email marketing campaign should be subtle advertising for the products and services offered by the distributor of the email and not advertisements for businesses who have paid for an advertising spot on the email. They believe the original emails are acceptable but additions to them are spam.

Still others are someone in between on the debate regarding whether or not advertising in email marketing is acceptable. In most cases these individuals believe it is acceptable for there to be advertising as long as it does not overshadow the original intent of the email. This middle of the road concept implies the Internet marketers are not firmly for or against the concept of placing advertisements on emails distributed fro marketing purposes.

The information in this article is rather vague by intention because it leaves more of an opportunity for the reader to form his own opinion. This is important because the subject is largely a matter of personal preference. Each reader must decide for himself whether or not he agrees with one side or the other or chooses to take a middle of the road stance. The opinions of readers of this article may be influenced by whether or not they are considered to be marketers or consumers. This is significant because it can impact the preferences. For example consumers may be less likely to appreciate advertisements in emails intended for marketing purposes because they feel it distracts from the original products. However, marketers may be more apt to be accepting of advertising because they can understand the financial gain which is possible. When evaluating opinions about the use of advertising, it is important to note whether or not the individual offering the opinion is involved in advertising. It might be more worthwhile to seek out opinions from consumers only as they are more likely to share the beliefs of your potential customers.

Mistakes To Avoid When Using Web Templates

Website templates are very affordable and they save you a lot of effort and time when you want to create a new layout for your website. However, a lot of people make mistakes in the process of choosing and using a web template and end up with something that was unlike the image they had in mind. Here are some guidelines to help you avoid those mistakes.

The first obvious mistake you should be aware of is using a template that is very popular. If many people use the same template, your website will not appear unique at all and your credibility as a solid, different website will be tarnished. In other words, you will appear generic just like your next-door neighbours.

To whole point of using a web template is to save time and effort. You just change the title and appropriate details and you're done. The biggest mistake one makes is to customize the template beyond recognisation. While that may be good in the sense that you're creating a unique graphic, you're defying the very purpose of using a web template -- saving time and effort.

However, on the opposite side, if a template you purchase is suitable but some changes must be made to suit your site's theme, then you will have to take some time to make the changes. For example, you can find a very nice template that suits your hobby site except the original designer has put an image of stamps in the header. You can find images of garden plants and spades to replace the stamps for your gardening hobby site. However, do only make the necessary changes and don't redesign the whole template.

In some circumstances, some people simply make the wrong choice of templates. This is a very subjective issue but you have to be careful in selecting templates to suit your audience. Do not choose templates just because they are pretty, choose them because they serve your purpose.

Using PayPal as a Payment Method on Ebay

Ebay auctions are more likely to be successful if the seller offers a variety of payment methods. It’s always a good idea to give buyers every possible chance to make a purchase. Checks and money orders work fine, but the preferred payment method for Ebay auctions is, and always has been, PayPal. If your auctions don’t list PayPal as a payment method, you might be turning away a lot of business. Here’s why:

PayPal was purchased by Ebay, and the two services work seamlessly together. PayPal is like an online bank account. Users can deposit and withdraw money to and from their offline accounts, or they can make online purchases using their PayPal balance directly. Users like PayPal’s security and convenience. PayPal can also be used as a way to accept credit card payments from buyers, which is increasingly vital these days.

To sign up for PayPal, go to www.paypal.com. You can create a free account and start accepting payments immediately. Your PayPal account must be linked to an actual bank account or credit card. Note that Ebay pros recommend that you create a bank account specifically to use with PayPal. That way, if one of your transactions gets hit with a chargeback, your main bank account won’t be in danger of going negative.

PayPal will verify your account by sending two small auto-deposits of different amounts. Don’t get too excited, though. These deposits are just a few pennies. They take a couple of days to show up in your bank account. Once you see them, log back into PayPal to verify your account by entering the exact monetary amount of these deposits. Once your account is verified in this way, you can start withdrawing money to your offline account. You can accept payments into your PayPal account from the moment you open it, though.

Now that you’ve signed up for a PayPal account, you need to add Paypal as a payment option. This is a simple way to get more bidders and more money from your Ebay auctions. To add PayPal as a payment choice, go to your “Sell Your Item” details and check the box next to “PayPal”. Then you will need to enter the e-mail address you used to open your PayPal account. Once this is done, buyers will be able to pay you immediately via PayPal whenever an auction ends.

If you want to be able to deal with unlimited amounts of money each month in your PayPal account (which is recommended for high volume sellers), you should upgrade your account. Upgrading is free, and also gives you the option of accepting payment by credit card. To upgrade your PayPal account, simply log into PayPal and click “Enhance Account”. There will be a small fee taken from each transaction after you upgrade, but it is nominal when compared to the benefits of using PayPal.

Take a lesson from Ebay’s top sellers: give buyers as many payment choices as you can. This includes PayPal, Ebay’s number one preferred choice for payments.

USING A PRESS RELEASE FOR FREE PUBLICITY

Product publicity is the "secret pathway" to business success

everyone wants. In simple terms, product publicity is a kind of

advertising that costs you nothing, yet brings in the orders for

you.

Regardless of what kind of business you are operating, you

should want, and strive for, as much publicity for your business

and your products or services, as possible. After all, it's

"free advertising" that is essential to the growth of your

business. However, your publicity efforts should be well

thought out, and pre-planned for maximum results.

The first, and basic form of obtaining publicity is through what

is known as the press or news release. This is generally a one

page story about your business, your product/service or an

event/happening related to your business that is about to, or

has recently occurred. These publicity stories are generally

"shot-gunned" to all the various media: local newspapers, radio

and TV, and trade publications.

Problem number one is getting the people to whom you've sent

these publicity stories, to use them - publish or broadcast

them. And this leads us back to the "right way " of writing

them and sending them in.

In every case, send a short cover letter addressed to the person

you want your material to be considered by. This means that

you send your story to the city editor of the newspapers; the

news directors of the radio and TV stations; and the managing

editors of the various trade publications. It will do you no

good whatsoever, to send your material to the advertising,

circulation or business managers - describing how you're a

long-time advertiser, subscriber or listener. The most

important thing is that you make contact with the person who has

the final say as to what is to be published or broadcast, and at

the bottom line - this person's use of your material will

somehow make him a "hero" to his or her readers, viewers or

listeners.

The cover letter should be a short note. Go to a paper supplier

- tell him you want a hundred or so sheets of good bond paper -

8 1/2 by 11 preferably in a pastel color such as blue or ivory

- and that you want this paper cut into quarters, giving you a

grand total of 400 sheets of note paper. "From the desk of..."

note sheets are too elaborate until the people you're contacting

get to know you - first time around, and until they use your

material, don't use these semi-formal note sheets.

On this note sheet, begin with the date across the top - skip a

couple of spaces and then quickly tell the recipient of the

note that the attached material is new and should be of real

interest to his or her readers, viewers or listeners. We advise our

dealers and distributors of MONEY MAKING MAGIC - our regular

publication for serious wealth builders and extra income seekers

- to send the following note to the editors and news directors

of the media in their areas:

"Here's something that 's new, and for a change, truly helpful,

to people trying to cope with inflation - the soaring costs of

living - and those engaged in building extra income businesses

of their own. This should be of real value - interest - to your

readers. Please take a look - any questions, or if you need

more info, give me a call at: (503) 666-5824..." Then, of

course, you skip about four spaces, type your name, your

business name, and your address - sign your name above where

you've typed it, and staple this note in the upper right hand

corner of your news release. This note should be typed and

double-spaced.

So now, you've got a cover letter, and you know who to send it

to. Type up one such note and take it to a near-by

quick-print shop. Have them copy the note 4 times, paste these

4-copies onto one sheet of paper, print 50 to 100 copies, and

cut the paper into individual notes, all for less that $10. Do

not try to save money by photo-copying or Xeroxing - a

photo-copy is a photo-copy is a photo-copy, and will not do the

job for you...

Now you need the actual publicity release, which also must be

"properly" written if you expect it to be used by the media.

Above all else, there's a proper form or style to use, plus the

fact that it must be typed, double-spaced, and short - about a

half page in total length.

About an inch from the top of the paper, with an inch and a half

margin on each side of the paper; from the left hand margin,

type in all capital letters: PRESS RELEASE: Then, underline

these words. Immediately following the colon, but not in all

capital letters, put in the date. Always set the date forward

by at least one day after the day you intend to mail the release.

On the same line, but on the right hand side of the page, and in

all capital letters, write the words, FOR FURTHER INFORMATION:

Underline this, and immediately below, but not in all capital

letters, type your name - your phone number - and your address.

Skip a couple of spaces, then in all capital letters - centered

between the margins - type a story headline, and underline it.

Skip a couple of spaces, and from the left hand margin, all in

capital letters, type the words, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: From

there on, it's the news or publicity story itself.

You can write the headline before the story, and then a story to

fit the headline - or the story before the headline, and then a

headline to fit the story - either way, it's basically the same

as writing a space ad or a sales letter. You attract attention

and interest with the headline and fill in the details with your

story.

Here's an example of the headlines we use on publicity blurbs

for MONEY MAKING MAGIC:

HELP IN MAKING ENDS MEET

NEW PUBLICATION FOR EXTRA INCOME SEEKERS

Notice how we continue to sell or involve the editor - His or her

readers are always looking for better ways to make ends meet,

and he/she specifically interested as to what our promise

involves... He/she wants his/her readers to "think well" of him/her for

enlightening them with this source of help, so he/she reads into the

story to find out who, what and how.

Suffice it to say that your headline, and the story you present

to the editor, must sell him/her on the benefits of your product or

service to his/her readers. Unless it specifically does this, he/she

will not use it. You must sell the first person receiving your

materials. Keep this fact uppermost in your mind as you write

it. The person you send your press or publicity release to,

must quickly see and understand how your product or service will

benefit his/her readers - thereby making him/her a hero to them - and

he/she must be assured it will do what you promise in your headline.

Come right to the point and say your product is lower in price,

more convenient to use or in what way your product or service is

useful to the people in general. It's also a good idea to

include a complimentary sample of your product or an opportunity

for him to sample your services.

Remember, the editors receiving your information are fully aware

of your purposes - Free Advertising! They are not in the least

interested in you or your credentials - If you've sold them on

the benefits of your business to their readers, and they want

background details, they'll call you. That's why you list your

telephone number and address.

These people are busy people. They have not got the time nor

the interest in reading about your trials and tribulations or

plans for the future. They want only "a flag" that alerts them

to something new and of probable real interest to their readers.

Sell the editor first. Convince him/her that you've found the

better mousetrap. Show him/her that your product or service - that

your business - fills a need and/or will interest a large

segment of his/her readers, his/her viewers or listeners.

When an editor uses your publicity release, always follow-up

with a short thank you note. Never, but never send a publicity

release to an editor and then call or write demanding to know

why he/she didn't use it, use it as you wrote it, or only gave you a

quick mention. Do this once, and that particular media will

"round-file" any further material received from you, unopened!

If your first effort is not used, then you should review the

story itself; perhaps write it from a different angle; make

sure you're sending it to the proper person - and try again!

As stated earlier, these people are busy, with hundreds of

publicity releases passing across their desks every day - They

only have so much space or time - therefore, your material has

to stand out and in some way, fit with the information they -

the editors - want to pass along to their readers, viewers or

listeners. Regardless of your business, product, or service,

you must build your press release - write it - around that

particular angle or feature that makes it beneficial or interest

to the readers, viewer or listeners of the media you want to run

your press release. Without this special ingredient, you're

lost before you begin!

The timing of your press release is always important. Try to

associate your press release with current events in the news. A

story on job lay-offs and increased unemployment carried in the

newspapers, on TV and radio would prompt us to get a publicity

release out to all the media on the help and opportunity offered

by MONEY MAKING MAGIC! Say there's a deluge of chain letters

and pyramid schemes making the round - the media picks up on it

and attempts to warn the people to beware... Within 5 days, we

would get a publicity release out, explaining the availability

of our report on chain letters and pyramid schemes - a report

that explains everything from A to Z - who're the winners and

who're the real losers.

There's another kind of timing also to keep in mind...

Publication deadlines. For best results, always try to time it

so your material reaches the editor in time for the Sunday

paper. This is because that's when the papers have their

greatest circulation; the most space is available and the

people, the most time to read the paper.

For articles you'd like to appear in the Sunday paper, you'll

generally have to get your release in at least nine days prior

to the date of publication. If you're in doubt, call and ask

about the deadline date.

IN SUMMARY:

Choose the media most likely to carry your press release.

Select those that carry similar write-ups on a regular basis.

Always use a cover letter of some kind. It pays to call ahead

to find out the name of the person you should be sending your

press release to.

Use the proper press release form, complete with a headline that

will interest the man deciding whether or not to use your item.

Be sure your press release is letter perfect - no typo's or

misspelled words - and don't photo-copy - always have each

letter or press release individually typed or printed.

When your item is used, send a thank you note or call the editor

on the phone and thank him/her for using your press release.

Never, but never call or write an editor demanding to know why

he/she didn't use your press release, why he had it rewritten or cut

it short - just try, and try again!

A LOW-COST MARKETING SYSTEM USING YOUR MODEM

E-Marketing (or Electronic Marketing) has come to light with our growing

acceptance to technology. The affordable prices and the accessibility of

fax machines, voice mail systems, CDs and desktop computers make this

technological advancements key to new ways entrepreneurs can communicate

to and market products to their customers.

In this report, we look at the modem, a small inexpensive gadget that when

installed into a desktop computer, will enable you to set-up an electronic

bulletin board, send faxes with your computer, enable you to get on the

Internet, send and receive e-mail, and more...

The computer is now viewed as the most essential business tool available.

The only problem is, many businesses buy a computer just for the sake of

having one, with no plans as to how the computer will be used. Sure,

they start to type letters on it, maybe a few marketing documents, and

the customer list goes on it, but that's the extent of computer use for

many businesses. Some don't even get that far. Well, those businesses

are missing out on a valuable low-cost marketing opportunity open to computer

users who have access to any type of on-line service, using what is called

the MODEM.

WHAT IS A MODEM?

The word MODEM stands for MOdulator DEModulator, and it's just a fancy name

for that small gadget that allows your computer to "hook-up" with the other

computers, using the telephone.

Modems can either be a card that is easily installed inside your computer, or

it can be an external unit. Basically, the only difference among modems that

you need to worry about is the speed. Modem speed is indicated by what is

called the BAUD Rate, which indicates the amount of "data" your modem can

receive or send per second. The most common baud rates for modems are 300,

1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, and 14,400. This report you are reading is approximately

25,000 bits. If you are using a 1200 baud modem, it will take you more

than 20 seconds to send or receive this file via the telephone line. With a

14,400 baud, it will take you less than 2 seconds.

With a modem and a "communications" program you can call up other computers

and communicate with them, including transferring programs and files.

You can communicate with individual computer users, or through BULLETIN

BOARD SYSTEMS, or BBS's, which are services run by entrepreneurs.

ELECTRONIC MARKETING MARKETING WITH MODEMS....

With a modem, you will also have the ability send and receive what are called

email or electronic mail - that is mail sent and received electronically,

using the computer.

With a modem, you can also "access" large ON-LINE services such as Prodigy,

CompuServe, Genie, America On-Line, and others. These are basically huge

bulletin board services with enormous libraries of information materials

which are made available to you when you subscribe to their service.

With a modem, you can also access the Internet to do research, send

information (business) materials to other computers, play games, or even

go shopping.

Used effectively, modems can be a formidable marketing tool which can be

employed to send product and business information to large numbers of

prospects quickly (no real lead-time, other than message transfer) and

inexpensively.

If you don't have a modem, by all means go out and get one! You can get a

modem card for your computer for as little as $50. You can even get one that

can also function as a fax for around $100 or less. Considering the benefits

you'll get from having one, a modem is wide investment in this age of

computer telecommunications. If you already have a modem, but never put it

to use, now is the time to get started!

RESOURCES

Here's a short list of computer services and BBS's you should try with your

modem. You should be able to get phone numbers of BBS's in your area by

consulting computer user groups.

Using Ebay to Advertise Offline Stores

Ebay is a fabulous way to sell items, but did you know that it can also be used to advertise and drive sales for your offline business? When you list items on Ebay, you can also include information about other offline businesses. This results in a marketing one-two punch; buyers are drawn to your auction as well as your store information. It’s a legitimate tactic that does not violate Ebay’s terms of use, and savvy sellers are taking advantage of it.

With a bit of research and practice, you can soon come up with auction titles that catch the eyes of potential buyers. When these buyers view your item description, they will also be exposed to any information you list about an offline business. This is particularly useful for sellers of antiques, collectibles, and other items that can take a long time to sell. Smaller items can be listed on Ebay, along with the address and phone number to the seller’s offline store where larger merchandise can be found. If this sounds like an easy and effective marketing tool, that’s because it is.

There are a few tips to remember before you advertise your other businesses on Ebay. First, consider whether this sort of advertising will benefit you. If you sell products within a niche market, such as musical instruments or rare artwork, advertising your shop in your auction listings will probably drive business to your offline store. But if you’re a supplier of general goods that are easily obtained, you might not benefit as much.

Successful merchants who use this marketing strategy always include basic information about their offline stores. You need to list a phone number and physical store address so that buyers can contact you. Put up a schedule of store hours. If your store is in an urban location where parking is a bit tricky, be sure to give a brief description of the parking situation. Will buyers need to pay to park? Will they need to park down the street? Extra information like this will prepare buyers for a trip to your boutique.

Another thing to consider is a map of your store and the surrounding area. Buyers like to know where they are going. If they can visualize your store’s location, they will be more likely to visit. Also, put up a picture of your storefront and interior. This makes your store seem more familiar to buyers and paints an accurate picture of your establishment.

Finally, buyers like to know that you want their business. In your Ebay listing, put in a brief paragraph about how your business prides itself on excellent service. Then invite buyers to call or come by. Even a simple invitation can make the difference between a casual browser and someone who will take the time to come and look at your merchandise.

Many offline shops use Ebay to sell their overstock, but really sharp sellers use Ebay to market their other stores, too. Advertise your business on your Ebay auction listings and you will bring your store’s name to a whole new audience.
